28 Nov 2014 (Fri) Zaffron Kitchen promises the finest of North and South Indian cuisine. I am glad to be invited and dined with friends like The Chua Family from Ieatandeat , FoodiePink and new friend Amie Hu.
Chef Satish came out to hello hello, honestly i cannot hear what he is talking. The restaurant is packed with a diversity of cosmopolitan people.
Do you know Chef Satish has cooked for various dignitaries, celebrities and even former President of Mr SR Nathan and former deputy Prime Minister Professor Jaya Kumar. By the age of 35, Chef Satish has won four gold and two bronze awards in the culinary industry.
The 35 year old has too long a list of achievements for me to type here, i know that Chef Satish visits both Zaffron Kitchen outlets (East Coast and WestGate) once a week.
Chef Satish is the Group Executive Chef of First Gourmet Pte Ltd. First Gourmet is a Singapore-based company incorporated in 2003. Restaurants under the company include Prata Wala, Ottoman Kebab & Grill and Zaffron Kitchen.
For the first dish, i went to the ladies. And glad Ms FoodiePink saved some for me! We chatted a lot and i told her on my new job!
The staff over here is smiley, they must be on happy food.
