No one likes dusty environment but it is upon hard work does a nice comfy environment exist. This quote came to my heart upon seeing the cafe under renovation on 5 Sep 2014 (Fri). Got to chitchat with with Ms Royz while sitting at the bus stop literally a stone’s throw away from her cafe.
On a personal note, Ms Royz reminded me of my mother’s youngest sister aka my Aunt, the lovely hairstyle and beautiful makeup. I think my aunt will scold me for being so random and referencing about her but who cares, i will only see her once a year. Teehee
Ms Royz came from an Engineering background and her family has always been in the F&B and Malay wedding business: food catering, baking, supplying door gifts etc. From 20 years ago. she has always wanted to open her own cafe. #INSPIRATION
Royz et Vous in French means Royz and You. Ms Royz shared on her hopes that the cafe will be building the community and being the only Halal cafe in the area, she hopes to build on and showcase the Muslim Malay heritage and culture.
Small cafe with not just manual ordering system, customers can also preview how the dishes look like and order via the tablets powered by Foodzaps Technology.
Oh Mel and i decided to meet randomly. She came after her wake-boarding where she instructs and also she is training for her next competition!
Here’s our food!
Rasul said that the lamb shanks are good too. A pity i do not eat lambs..
Something to share?
Always like a coffee or tea after meal.
Another random friend joined us also.
As i cannot tahan too spicy wings, i ordered an Australian’s organic sparkling juice (mango and orange) and was surprised the cafe got their juice from The Providore.
I purposely choose to sit outside. An angmoh who is waiting for his bus, saw us eating and asked how’s the food? We invited him to sit and join us but he was too shy.
I did not expect a long letter… (;
