24 July 2014 (Thurs) This shop lives up to the name Mộc Quán Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine. With the music and every little details, plus a friendly head chef who is also the owner, i am literally in the 1970s of Vietnam. He is a chef who has always worked 8 months, backpacked 3 months (Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Ipoh, Pakistan and Mexico etc) and then back to work. In his backpacking, he will work for food and learn the local food recipes.
Together with his Vietnamese wife, Jeff inspires to serve Singapore with authentic Vietnamese recipes. #INSPIRATION
Open and find out what’s inside (;
Chef Jeff also brews the Herbal Tea personally..
There is a variety of Vietnam dishes, that’s how many pages the menu is! Each dish is prepared only upon ordering, expect the waiting time to be half hour. In case you miss out, there is a special coffee in Mộc Quán : Ca Phe Chon (Weasel Coffee)
Personally i prefer the crab noodles below, order this for your enemy. Weird that the more i eat, the more enjoyable it is.
I wanted to tabao back to office and oh my goodness the takeaway paper bag brought a smile to my face.
